📄 JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Full-Stack Developer at VeepeeTech, you will join the monitoring team within the Foundation Tribe to design, develop, and maintain APIs and user interfaces for internal monitoring services.

Working in the MOM (Monitoring, Observability and metrology) team, close to VeepeeCloud engineers, and product owners, you will develop APIs for internal monitoring services and integrate monitoring features into the existing VeepeeCloud console.

🎯 TASKS

Backend & APIs: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that provide access to internal monitoring capabilities.

User interfaces: Build and integrate monitoring features into the existing VeepeeCloud console.

Collaboration: Translate user and product needs into practical technical solutions, in collaboration with the MOM and VeepeeCloud teams.

Software quality: Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and implement automated unit and integration tests.

Delivery & maintenance: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for the services you develop, reduce technical debt, and maintain technical documentation.

The role will initially focus on software development, with no support duties. Over time, depending on team needs and your familiarity with the platform, you may contribute to selected operational activities.

👉 MUST HAVE skills

Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.

Backend development: Hands-on experience with Python or Go, including designing and building REST APIs.

Frontend development: Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework, including integrating features into an existing application.

Databases: Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

Engineering practices: Proficiency with Git, code reviews, automated unit and integration testing, and familiarity with CI/CD workflows.

Collaboration: Ability to work across multi cultural teams and translate functional requirements into maintainable software.

Languages: Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.

👉 NICE TO HAVE skills

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.

Experience with time-series databases.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or Nomad.

Experience with GitLab.

Familiarity with Linux and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
